About ParkWatch
ParkWatch is a DEVBUILDTOOL project that helps campers compare national park campgrounds, understand booking rules and find the official reservation provider.
How information is checked
Priority Yosemite and Yellowstone guides draw on National Park Service pages and official campground operators. Source links and verification dates identify the information checked. The focused October 15, 2026 review covered Upper Pines, Lower Pines, Camp 4 and Grant Village. Other catalogue entries have not received that same focused review.
When sources disagree, campground-specific updates take precedence over older general guidance. A verified fee or operating season remains tied to its published travel year. Unconfirmed future dates are identified rather than inferred.
What the booking tools can tell you
The booking planner calculates releases from published rules; it does not confirm that a campground will open. Availability checks are snapshots of public inventory and can fail, become outdated or change before checkout. A full-stay match requires the same campsite to show every requested night available. It does not confirm equipment fit or reserve a site.
Saved campgrounds are a shortlist stored in your browser. Saving does not enable cancellation monitoring or notifications. Complete bookings, payments, cancellations and changes with the official provider.
Independence and corrections
ParkWatch is independent of the National Park Service and reservation providers. Source-based planning guidance should not be read as a personal campsite inspection or a claim that every campsite has been visited.
